The Team
We are a firm of experienced market and network leaders, and a first-of-its-kind partnership for bringing these very unique capabilities together to serve companies operating in this segment. Our principals have built and managed large, successful businesses targeting the U.S. Hispanic consumer, as well as several of the world’s premier global business networks for senior executives.

David Wellisch

 

Mr. Wellisch is the co-founder of the Latinum Network. Prior to this, Mr. Wellisch was the founder and general manager of AOL Latino and was a senior executive in the Strategy and Business Development group. While at AOL, Mr. Wellisch originated the concept behind AOL Latino and was responsible for the entire operation, overseeing programming, product development, customer service, marketing, strategy and business development. At its peak, AOL Latino reached $130M in revenue from subscription and advertising revenue streams. He has been widely recognized for his work in the industry, including interviews by the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, CNN, Univision, Telemundo, and Spanish Press. In 2005, he was selected as Hispanic Marketer of the Year by AdWeek’s Hispanic Edition.

 

Mr. Wellisch has also had senior positions at Allied Capital and Gemini Consulting. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Brown University.

 

 

Michael Klein

 

Mr. Klein is the co-founder of the Latinum Network. Prior to this, Mr. Klein was with the Corporate Executive Board, the leading global provider of executive networks and B2B shared content services. Mr. Klein held a number of senior positions at CEB, most recently serving as the Executive Director of the Strategy and Management Practice. In this role, he was responsible for building and managing the world’s largest networks for Chief Strategy Officers and Divisional Presidents. He also ran the Human Resources Practice and was a senior executive in the Financial Services Group. Across his tenure with CEB, Mr. Klein managed 10 full-scale network-based businesses, representing over 2,500 memberships, and launched 5 new businesses, adding over 1,000 corporate relationships.

 

Mr. Klein has also held senior positions with Marriott International, in Corporate Finance, and Ernst and Young. He has an MBA from Stanford University and a BA from the University of Notre Dame.
